SPECIALIST BASKETBALL SCHOOLS
A number of schools in South Australia conduct specialist basketball programs within their curriculum and Basketball SA is pleased to support those programs.
Support from Basketball SA has included the delivery of coaching and refereeing courses and the involvement of students in the administration and management of tournaments coordinated by Basketball SA.
In 2007 students from the high schools listed below assisted with the organisation and management of the basketball competitions for the World Police and Fire Games, The Australasian Masters Games and the Gator Games.
The Gator Games involves competition for year 4/5 and year 6/7 primary school students at five metropolitan and three regional venues.
