Jas has been named in the team to compete at the Under 17 World Championship in August.
Jas underwent a knee reconstruction following an ACL injury at Easter time in 2010 and has had to do a lot of work to both rehabilitate the injury and regain the form that first took to national prominence as a bottom age Under 16 player back in 2009.
Notwithstanding the obvious talent that she has, her selection is a fitting reward for her perseverance over the past two years.
She joins the Froling twins and Tiarna Mangakahia from Queensland, Vanessa Panousis from NSW and 7 Victorians in the team selected.
Chris Lucas and Simon Pritchard from SA will assist Head Coach Marissa Fillipou.
