2010 SASI Scholarships

Basketball SA has announced the SASI Scholarship holders for 2010. This year’s squads consist of 14 full scholarship holders and 77 associate scholarship holders from both the metropolitan and country regions of South Australia.

As always, difficult selection decisions had to be made but there are some very talented athletes in the group. The Under 18s are working hard towards state selection in a couple of weeks. Aneeka Smith, Stephanie Talbot, Alex Wilson, Daniel Carlin and Isaiah Omamogho are currently involved in our national Under 17 squads, along with Olivia Thompson who recently commenced a scholarship at the AIS. It is especially pleasing to see Aneeka back on the floor and doing well after more than 12 months recuperating from serious illness.
