Yesterday on the Queen's Birthday, Adelaide's Richard 'Dick' Butler was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the General Division of The Queen's Birthday 2018 Honours List.

Richard 'Dick' Butler was acknowledged and celebrated yesterday on the Queen's Birthday of 2018, for his significant service to basketball as a senior executive and administrator, and as an advocate for gender equality in development and competition. 

The Queen’s Birthday Honours recognise the exceptional achievements of Australians on and off the sporting field, and Basketball SA are thrilled to receive notice of the much deserved celebration of Richard's impact on our sport here in South Australia, and nationally.
